The Oneida Nation of New York says patrons can bring alcohol to the Turning Stone Resort and Casino.
The tribe halted its "bring your own" policy as it sought liquor licenses from the state Liquor Authority. But now that the authority rejected the applications, the ban was lifted.
But the authority says the BYO policy is illegal. The tribe lacks a "bottle club license," a spokesperson said.
The tribe doesn't allow alcohol on the casino floor but patrons can bring alcohol to hotel rooms, restaurants and concerts.
