The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation of Kansas won't be allowed to intervene as a party in a lawsuit that challenges the state's new gaming law.
The tribe opposes the law, which authorizes state-run casinos. But the tribe will only be allowed to file "friend of the court" briefs in the lawsuit.
The tribe says the new casinos will hurt the casino on its reservation.
