The Christian Civic League of Maine is forming a political action committee to oppose the Passamaquoddy Tribe's proposal for a racino.
The committee, named "Gambling with the way life should be," will raise money to fight the tribe's ballot referendum. Question 1 asks voters to approve a race track with casinos in Washington County.
The tribe kicked off its "Yes on Question 1" campaign last week.
