News reports say the United Auto Workers union has enough signatures to organize at the casino owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.
The union launched a drive at the Foxwoods Resort Casino three months ago. The effort was met with resistance by casino managers and tribal officials, who called unions unnecessary and burdensome.
The union has scheduled a press conference this morning to announce its plans.
