The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians will discuss plans for its off-reservation casino at a public forum in Jackson County.
The tribe requested the forum after news about a "secret" meeting rattled local officials.
The tribe discussed the casino with business leaders, who did not invite county supervisors.
The tribe wants to open a casino in the county, more than 200 miles from the reservation.
