The New York State Liquor Authority is holding a hearing today on the Oneida Nation's request to serve liquor at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino.
The tribe wants the license in time for a PGA tournament next week. But some local officials and critics say the tribe shouldn't be allowed to serve liquor because the tribe doesn't pay taxes or follow state laws.
The meeting is taking place in New York City and is being broadcast online at http://www.webcatter.com/live/nysabc.
