The city of Davenport plans to ask the Meskwaki Tribe of Iowa to operate a riverboat casino.
The tribe operates a casino on its reservation. The one in Davenport would apparently fall under the state system.
The Rhythm City Casino already has a license. The city's finance committee unanimously approved a resolution to ask the tribe to take over the license.
