The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut outlined plans for a $1 billion casino in Massachusetts.
The tribe wants to bid on a commercial license in Palmer, in the western part of the state. The facility would up to 4,000 slot machines, a 600-room hotel and a retail center.
The casino site is located off a major interstate.
