The Sac and Fox Nation of Oklahoma broke ground on a new casino on Saturday.
The 35,000-square-foot casino will house 600 slots, table games and a restaurant. Construction is expected to start in four weeks and be completed in eight to 10 months, The Shawnee News-Star reported.
"The benefits of this casino will go to the people of the Sac and Fox Nation," Principal Chief Kay Rhoads said.
