The Arizona Department of Gaming released the latest tribal gaming revenue figures on Monday.
Gaming tribes shared $28.1 million with the state for the quarter ending June 30. That puts the total for the last four quarters at more than $91.5 million, about the same amount that was predicted when voters approved an expansion of gaming in the state back in 2002.
The compacts that were authorized by voters allow up to 15,250 gaming machines for 21 tribes. As of July 1, there were 13,232 machines in operation.
The tribes share 1 percent of the first $25 million in "net win" revenues, 3 percent of the next $50 million, 6 percent of the next $25 million and 8 percent of anything more than $100 million.
The net win for all the casinos was $1.8 billion for the year ending June 30, 2006.
