The Sac & Fox Nation broke ground last week on an expansion of its casino in Kansas.
The tribe will double the size of the gaming floor at the Sac & Fox Casino. The number of gambling machines will grow to 1,000 from 500.
The project also adds a a poker room and VIP lounge to the facility. Chairwoman Fredia Perkins said the number of employees will grow to 400 from 275.
The casino opened 10 years ago.
