The Gila River Indian Community of Arizona plans to move its Lone Butte Casino to a new location after running into opposition from a neighboring community.
The tribe originally wanted to move the casino closer to Chandler. The new site is only a few miles from the casino's current location.
The tribe still plans to increase the size of the facility. The $60 million casino will feature a 750-seat bingo hall, 680 slot machines, a poker room, two sit-down restaurants and a food court.
