First Nations casinos in Saskatchewan took in a record profit of $48.8 million in the past year, the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority reported.
The four casinos made a 21 percent increase in profit. Their total revenues went up $17 million to $130 million.
The industry is expected to keep growing. A fifth casino, the $61 million Dakota Dunes, is slated to open August 10.
