Alan Meister of the Analysis Group is releasing his annual Indian Gaming Industry Report today.
Meister says tribal casinos took in $25.5 billion in 2006, an 11 percent increase from 2005. While the growth rate was slower than previous years, he noted that the industry is still one to watch.
"Indian gaming has a lot of growth potential. A lot of that growth is already happening," he wrote in the report, according to the Associated Press.
The numbers are in line with a National Indian Gaming Association report released in May and with figures released by the National Indian Gaming Commission earlier this month.
