The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska announced a $30 million expansion of the WinnaVegas Casino on Friday.
Plans call for the casino to increase the number of slot machines from 648 to 950, build a 100-room hotel and upgrade the interior and exterior of the 24,353-square-foot facility. "When this project is done, the entire property will be bigger, more comfortable, extremely convenient and overall much better," general manager Silas M. Cleveland Sr. said.
The casino is located on trust land in Iowa. The tribe hopes to build more amenities on land in Iowa and Nebraska.
