The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut plans to make improvements to make it easier for employees who walk to the Mohegan Sun Casino.
The tribe is undertaking a major expansion of the casino. As part of Project Horizon, sidewalks crosswalks and lighting will be added to Route 32, one of the oldest turnpikes in the country.
Employees who walk to work currently use dirt paths along the road.
