The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts is seeking to acquire more land in a town where it wants to build a casino.
The tribe already owns or has options on 350 acres in Middleboro. Another 200 acres is being eyed, a landowner who was contacted by the tribe said.
The tribe offered the town $7 million a year plus $150 million in infrastructure improvements to host a casino.
Town leaders delayed a vote to accept or reject the deal.
