The Rumsey Band of Wintun Indians of California plan a second expansion of its Cache Creek Casino Resort.
The tribe plans to add more gaming space, nearly 500 additional hotel rooms, several eateries and an event/conference center. Construction is expected to run in the high $200 millions.
The tribe wants to remain competitive, officials said. Other tribes in northern California are planning new facilities or expanding current ones.
