The Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma is holding a grand opening for its new casino.
The Kiowa Red River Casino features nearly 1,000 slot machines, 20 poker and blackjack tables, a buffet and a sports bar. The 63,000-square-foot facility will employ 575 people.
The tribe had to clear up fines and other issues with the National Indian Gaming Commission before opening the casino. NIGC shut down the tribe's last casino.
