The Morongo Band of Mission Indians of California began running television ads to generate support for six tribal gaming compacts.
The spots urge viewers to contact their lawmakers to support the deals. The state Senate has ratified the compacts but they face opposition in the Assembly.
The ads can be viewed at Together California, a website created by the Morongo Band.
The "seven-figure" campaign will run in English and Spanish.
