Residents of Chandler, Arizona, are upset that the Gila River Indian Community wants to expand and relocate one of its casinos.
The tribe plans to double the size of the facility and move it closer to several housing subdivisions in Chandler. That has neighbors worried about noise, traffic and crime.
Mayor Boyd Dunn said residents are also frustrated by lack of communication with the tribe. But a spokesperson said all plans have been made public so far.
