The Bureau of Indian Affairs has approved the Spokane Tribe's new gaming compact with the state of Washington.
The agreement allows the tribe to offer up to 1,500 slot-style machines for the next three years and up to 3,000 after that. It allows as many as five casino sites, though none off the reservation.
The compact becomes final after being published in the Federal Register.
