The Southern Ute Tribe of Colorado has begun work on its new Sky Ute Casino.
The facility will be more than triple the current size of the casino. It will feature several hundred slot machines, 20 poker and blackjack tables, a 100-room hotel, an indoor pool and lazy river, a bowling alley and several restaurants.
The tribe expects to open the casino in 2008.
