New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D) is being urged to ensure that the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe doesn't allow smoking at its off-reservation casino.
Spitzer and the tribe signed a deal to apply all local laws to the casino. That means only parts of the facility will be smoke free.
State Sen. John Bonacic, the American Cancer Society and several organizations don't think that's enough. They want the entire casino to ban smoking.
