Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire (D) said she will probably sign a proposed gaming compact with the Spokane Tribe.
Gregoire hasn't reviewed the compact in detail but she said she supports the general framework. The deal would allow the tribe to operate up to 4,700 slot machines at as many as five casinos.
The compact also allows high-stakes betting and cash-fed slot machines, provisions afforded only to the Spokanes.
