Three people were indicted for stealing $198,000 from the casino owned by the Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria.
Peter Daniel Collins, 35, Emily Katherine Weitzel, 22, and Daniel Ivan Porter, 37, were charged in federal court. They are accused of staging an elaborate robbery of the Cher-Ae-Heights Casino in the early morning hours of November 1, 2005.
Porter worked in the casino's surveillance room. He gave keys and electronic access to Weitzel and Collins, who wore disguises to carry out the crime, according to the indictment.
