The Cherokee Nation is announcing plans to expand its casino in Catoosa, just outside of Tulsa.
The Cherokee Casino will undergo a $100 million expansion to increase hotel space and dining and entertainment options. "Our occupancy rates are in excess of 90-percent at the hotel, and it's just been a wonderful success so we're ready to go to the next level and raise the bar once more and build bigger and better," Cherokee Nation Enterprises CEO David Stewart told KOTV.
The tribe just finished adding a parking garage to the casino.
