Want a casino but don't have water? Build a lake

Residents of French Lick, Indiana, hope their new casino will usher in an era of economic prosperity.

But first they needed a lake. State law only allows casinos on water, so they had to build one.

The 84,000-square-foot is part of a massive rebuilding effort in the town. It's located near one of two major hotels that residents hope will bring in tourists and their cash.
