Forest County Potawatomi Tribe to break ground

The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe of Wisconsin will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking of its $240 million casino expansion on August 28.

The project will triple the space at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee. The tribe plans to double the number of slot machines and add up to three times as many table games.

The tribe is moving forward after the state Supreme Court affirmed the right of tribes to offer Class III gaming. The project had been on hold pending resolution of the litigation.
