The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation announced a new president at the Foxwoods Resort Casino.
John O'Brien was serving as vice president and chief financial officer at Foxwoods. He takes over from William Sherlock, who is retiring.
The move comes as the tribe is undertaking a $700 million, 2 million-square-foot expansion of Foxwoods. The project will double the size of the resort.
