Quapaw Tribe draws scrutiny for new casino game

The state of Oklahoma says a new game created by the Quapaw Tribe may be illegal under the tribal-state compact.

The tribe's new craps game is played with dice and cards. The state says dice games are illegal under the state law that authorized the tribal-state compact that the Quapaws signed.

The tribe patented the game and has licensed it to the Osage Nation and the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe. The state says the Seneca-Cayuga casino may be offering a roulette wheel that violates the compact.
