NIGC consultation schedule on Class II regulations

The National Indian Gaming Commission has published a schedule of its upcoming consultation meetings.

The NIGC is consulting tribes on two new Class II rules. The first rule seeks to draw a "clear line" between electronic Class II games and Class III games like slot machines.

The second rule revises the definition of "electronic or electromechanical facsimile" to prohibit the use of facsimiles to Class II machines without a tribal-state Class III compact.

The schedule is as follows:
July 12-13, Washington, DC.
July 17-18, Bloomington, Minnesota.
July 19-20, Denver, Colorado.
July 24-25, Tacoma, Washington.
July 26-27, Ontario, California.
August 8-9, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
