The Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona has hired a new chief executive officer for its gaming enterprise.
Jonathan Gregory, a member of the Bad River Band of Chippewa, is the former general manager for the casino owned by the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians in California. He replaces Joe Calabrese, who resigned abruptly and without explanation last November, The Arizona Daily Star said.
Gregory will oversee the Tohono O'odham's three casinos. The tribe is working on an $80 million expansion of one casino.
