The Seminole Tribe of Florida is buying the Hard Rock venture for $965 million.
The tribe will own the 124 Hard Rock Cafes, four Hard Rock Hotels, two Hard Rock Casino Hotels, two Hard Rock Live! concert venues and a stake in three other hotels. The Hard Rock's massive collection of music memorabilia is also part of the deal but the Hard Rock in Las Vegas is not.
The tribe operates to Hard Rock casinos on its land in Florida. The facilities have been extremely successful.
