The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut reported a 9 percent increase in profits at the Mohegan Sun Casino.
The tribe said gaming-only revenues went up 7 percent, including a 12 percent rise in table game revenue. Non-gaming revenues also contributed to the increase in profits.
The tribe is planning a $740 million expansion of the casino. The tribe also purchased a race track in Pennsylvania and added slot machines to the facility.
