The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is announcing an expansion project that will bring House of Blues to the Mohegan Sun Casino.
The tribe will add a 1,000-room hotel, more gaming space and more stores and restaurants to its successful facility. In hopes of attracting a younger crowd, House of Blues will operate a 1,500-seat, live-music venue.
Details of the project are being announced today. Officials say the expansion will add 2,000 jobs to the 10,000 already employed by the tribe.
