Connecticut's two tribal casinos are already the largest in the world and they will continue to get bigger.
The Foxwoods Resort Casino, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, and the Mohegan Sun Casino, owned by the Mohegan Tribe, have combined revenues between $2.2 billion and $2.5 billion. But market estimates say they could reach $4 billion.
The potential has prompted a series of expansions over the years. The Mohegans just announced a project that will add more hotel rooms and slot machines. The Pequots signed a major deal with MGM Mirage to expand.
