The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma is seeing some support for its out-of-state casino in New York.
The Auburn Industrial Development Authority voted to support the project, as long as it receives approval from state and federal officials. The tribe has to provide studies addressing traffic and environmental, economic and social impacts of the proposed casino.
The tribe's ancestral home is New York and was part of the Cayuga land claim that was thrown out of court last year.
