The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe of Wisconsin contributed $4.2 million each to the city of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County.
The tribe makes the payments every year. They represent 3 percent of the revenues at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee, after the state's share is subtracted.
According to The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the payment means the casino's gross revenue in 2005 was $304 million, $20 million more than the year prior.
The tribe is planning a $240 million expansion of the facility.
