The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe of Wisconsin is moving forward with a $240 million expansion of its casino.
The project was on hold pending resolution of a lawsuit that questioned the legality of Indian gaming. But the state Supreme Court affirmed the right of tribes to offer Class III gaming.
The expansion at the casino in downtown Milwaukee is expected to take about two years. It will nearly triple the floor space and double the number of slot machines.
