Florida is home to just two federally-recognized tribes but their casinos are bringing in an estimated $1.265 billion, according to the new Indian Gaming Industry Report.
The Seminole Tribe and the Miccosukee Tribe operate several gaming facilities.
The Seminoles have six casinos while the Miccosukees have just one.
Together, the casinos saw a 36 percent increase in revenues, the report said. And they are expected to grow even more once full Class III gaming is authorized.
