Correction/Clarification: An earlier version of this posting incorrectly stated the Congressman won $27,000. He wasn't that lucky -- it was $2,700.
House Majority Leader John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) won $2,700 last year on a slot machine at a casino owned by the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Michigan.
Boehner isn't a regular gambler, a spokesperson said. He only played the slot machine at the Kewadin Casino in Manistique because he was waiting for a colleague, the spokesperson said.
The slot winnings were reported on Boehner's financial disclosure form released on Wednesday.
