The House Resources Committee is holding a hearing on Wednesday to focus on off-reservation gaming.
Rep. Richard Pombo (R-California), the chairman of the committee, introduced
H.R.4893 on March 7. The bill amends Section 20 of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act in order to make it harder for tribes to acquire non-reservation lands for casinos.
The hearing takes place at 11am in Room 1324 of the Longworth House Office Building. A witness list is not available yet.
