A bill to distribute $50 million in gaming revenues to local communities is ready for California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's signature.
Tribes contribute a portion of their revenues to the Indian Gaming Special Distribution Fund. The money is then sent to local governments to address the impact of casinos.
Schwarzenegger, a Republican, had cut the fund to $30 million but the bill restores the money to $50 million.
