The Catawba Nation of South Carolina will be closing down its bingo hall in Rock Hill after selling the property to an unnamed developer.
The bingo hall was already on its way out of business. The tribe cut back games to once a month, citing competition from the state lottery.
The tribe opened the bingo hall in 1997 after buying the old Rock Hill Mall property.
The new buyer of the plans to demolish the site.
