The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma presented a casino agreement to the city of Massillon, Ohio, on Monday.
The tribe says it will share revenues from the casino with the city, estimated at up to $12 million to $14 million a year. The tribe would also make mitigation payments for infrastructure and police or fire services.
The tribe is eyeing several casino sites in Ohio. Three other cities have already signed intergovernmental agreements.
Separately, the tribe has filed a lawsuit claiming title to land throughout the state.
