The Sac and Fox Nation of Oklahoma is still pursuing a former Amy depot in Illinois for a casino.
The tribe wants the Savanna Army Depot in Savanna transferred to the tribe. Principal Chief Kay Rhoads says the tribe can open a Class II facility on the land without state approval.
The local development board says it is willing to lease some of the land to the tribe but an attorney says no gaming will ever take place there.
