The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma will present a $200 million casino proposal to the Sennett, New York, Town Board this coming Tuesday.
The tribe says settle its land claim for $1, pay all taxes on the casino, share 25 percent of slot-machine revenue to the state and pay $5 million over 20 years to local governments if the casino is approved.
The tribe is working with mall developer Thomas C. Wilmot on the project. It is one of several casinos the tribe has sought in New York, its ancestral homeland.
