Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley Jr. announced that the Nahata Dziil Chapter [Web Site] in Arizona will be the first tribal casino site.
Other games sites are on the way, a spokesperson for Shirley said. They include Shiprock, New Mexico, under a deal with Lee Iacocca and his Full House Resorts company.
The tribe is still building up its gaming regulatory division that will oversee the casinos.
