Investors line up for off-reservation casino

A group backing the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma has lined up a dozen private investors for an off-reservation casino in Ohio, The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

National Capital won't disclose how much it has raised but the investors have each given $10,000 to $50,000 for the project, the paper says. "Investors don't want their names and their investments out there," a consultant told the paper.

The tribe is eyeing several sites in the state for gaming. At least four communities have signed land deals and agreements welcoming the tribe.
